Authorship Criteria
Authorship should reflect substantial scholarly contribution and accountability for the submitted work. Every listed author must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission to Journal of Social Movements.
- Authors should contribute to conception, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, writing, or critical revision.
- All authors should approve the submitted and revised versions of the manuscript.
- The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and for confirming author order.
- Changes to authorship after submission require written agreement from all authors and editorial approval.
- Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.
